Designing Dresses

AJ has been watching me sew clothing and toys for as long as she can remember.  The poor girl desperately wants to learn to sew and I want to teach her, but she's a bit short on patience and a wee ambitious at the moment.

She has found a loop-hole or so she thinks.  She'll design and I'll sew.  Yeah....

  2. Heh. Well even if I were to make her dresses into reality, I might need to take a little discretion as her designs really result in aprons more than actual dresses. But I do think that for Christmas it might be fun to take ONE and turn it into a dress...we'll see how long this passion for designing dresses lasts.

  3. May she is seeing objects in two dimensions instead of three. Dresses would look like aprons. Oh by the way, you are a good mommy and auntie.

  4. You've got the front and back adjoined by the shoulder straps. Find 6 neckties about the same size and sew the sides together 3 ties wide on each side. I think those would make adorable dresses.
